The cost of an EPC is £95 plus VAT, there is also a mileage charge if the property is outside of Leominster.
If you have a floor plan for the property it would be helpful with completing the report.
Below is an explanation of what happens at the EPC appointment.
The visit will take betweeen 1-2 hours depending on the size of your house. We woul need to take photos of the outside of the house to show the building materials, pitch of the roof, window types and see the electric/gas meters. If you have any solar panels, or wind turbines, we would also need to see these.
Inside your house we would need to draw a floor plan and measure the size of the rooms, heights to the ceilings, width of wall, look at the heating, radiators and go into the loft to measure the loft insulation. In the bathroom we would look at the bath fittings/shwer plus your water tank. We would take photos and measurements of all items listed and then return to the office to draw up and process this data. Usuakky we do this after the site visit in the afternoon and we would be able to tell you your EPC rating at your home.
